🐷 Is Opel Astra A Reliable Car
The Astra is still a relatively compact car. Vauxhall During my testing, mostly on A-roads with a 60mph limit and in a mixture of normal and sport modes, I achieved an average of 2.9 miles per kWh.
This is a very reliable car, however the seats are uncomfortable and the cost of mechanical parts is high. The engine is good, but you have to rev the engine in order for it to come alive. The air-condition is very good, but it's a bit noisy at high speeds. The heater is very good. I think that this car with a bigger engine would be better.
IF strength and durability were the marks of a good small car, then history states that one of the best was the Holden Astra. We bought thousands of them, in fact, in 2005 alone, 34,000 Astras found homes in Australia. It was Holden’s mainstay for years and even if it did start out as a rebadged Nissan Pulsar, it quickly revealed its own identity when Holden invited it into Australia from

Vauxhall Astra owner reviews The best and most reliable car I have had in years. The engine is responsive and fast with excellent torque response, fuel consumption is excellent, totally
Sitting snugly under the bonnet of the Opel Astra OPC is a 2.0 litre, inline 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol motor that has been tuned to produce more power than British Touring car specifications. 206kW and 400Nm in a hatchback is no laughing matter. Compared to the Golf’s 162kW and 350Nm, on paper at least, the OPC looks like it will make a
The ride and body control are assured and tight respectively as the car flows over the surface feeling well planted through bends. The steering is something of a let down by comparison and could be more precise but a slick gearshift and well-judged pedal weights go in the plus column. Generally, the Astra is a highly polished drive.
Vauxhall is one of the most popular car manufacturers in the UK with a reputation for building reliable cars. However, in the 2021 WhatCar? Reliability Survey , the Astra finished 23rd out of 24 family cars with a score of 86.6%, suggesting it isn’t as dependable as some other Vauxhall models.
The car isn't very spacious, but at least the boot is huge. The engine of my Astra is 1.4 16v and have enough power to drive normally. Its very economic, but unfortunately is too loud. I strongly recommend you the 1.6l 16v. Year of manufacture. 1997. First year of ownership. 2005. Most recent year of ownership.
I personally like Opel a lot, they are reliable, have a premium ride and are very good looking. I have driven here several years ago a Omega V6, it was a blast, impressive car. If you want a car that not everyone is driving, stands out in traffic here, and is still affordable, Opel is an interesting choice. The slick looks is also a head turner.
Next up will be the new Astra (a familiar name for Kiwi car buyers) that will initially land here with the 1.2-litre engine/8-speed auto combo (eligible for a $2650 rebate) and a plug-in hybrid
Hello everybody, I am seriously considering my next car to be the Opel Insignia B, Grand Sport or Grand Tourer verison. Since I am mostly driving in the city, but still need a fairly large car (we are a family of 4), I am researching the 1.5l Turbo Petrol with the automatic transmission.
