Hi All, New to the forum and looking for some help. 2017 focus - 1.0l ecoboost - 36k miles - started showing an (orange) Engine service light a few months a go - Around the time it was due for its annual service. We originally interpreted as that - service coming due. Checked earthing and engine is definitely physically and electrically connected to the chassis and battery negative terminal, so no broken earth strap. If only it had been that simple. Now the car won’t restart, it had a low battery fault occasionally, so had on charge overnight. This fault has reset, but still no starting. What can sometimes happen is although the 2 systems seem different, you don't know about where the wiring runs close or if they have close terminals in the Powerbox.
